Cruise performance improvement

McDonnell Douglas venerable twinjet series beginning with the DC-9-10 in 1963, spawned the MD-80 after the NASA refan project giving rise to the JT8D-200 series.  Various improvements were inserted into production over the years, but many others were design and never implemented.

Over the past few years, DC Aviation has extended those improvements to include the MD-87, MD-90, and 717-200.  In addition, as licensees of The Boeing Company, DC Aviation has designed their own innovative improvements through the advent of new state of the art computer modeling software.
