Cruise performance improvement
06 / 06 / 2011
McDonnell Douglas venerable twinjet series beginning with the DC-9-10 in 1963, spawned the MD-80 after the NASA refan project giving rise to the JT8D-200 series. Various improvements were inserted into production over the years, but many others were design and never implemented. The acquisition of the assets of Super98 incorporates the previous 3 year-long effort to bring those improvements to the aftermarket via Boeing licensure and full support.

Over the past few years, DC Aviation has extended those improvements to include the MD-87, MD-90, and 717-200. In addition, DC Aviation has designed their own innovative improvements through the advent of new state of the art computer modeling software.
